The Need to Know
The national and state Democratic party websites do not have links to local chapters and officials. This makes it impossible for individuals to participate in national protest movements.

Jan wrote a great post about protesting on the upcoming President's Day. To help her, I tried to repost and add a link to information where anyone could reach out to their local democratic party and either organize or join in on the protest that day, but I could not find that information.
I don't need to tell anyone what a huge problem this is. At a time when so many of us feel lost and alone, helpless in the face of hourly onslaughts of terrifying events, easy and quick access to others who feel the same way and provide a means to act on our dissatisfaction with the status quo has never been more critical.
Every party organizer and official needs to understand that who shows up in November is based on who shows up and is available the rest of the year.
It is not okay that our party's website does not have a comprehensive list of information for every state, county, and local chapter - available with the click of a button.
They need us now more than ever. We are ready to act now, more than ever.
That information needs to be there, now more than ever.
If anyone knows how to contact the person in charge of the Democratic website, please either give them a copy of this post, or better yet, let them know how to contact me.
